The Fall Wellness Health Festival at Turtle Island brought out over 700 adults and over 100 youth in the community and surrounding Pulaski County areas. The festival allowed us to collaborate with the South End Community with the support of other community advocates, entrepreneurs, gardeners, beekeepers, and wellness workers. We had a fun festival with an educational and sustainability-focused youth and family day. This allowed us to share goals to create a healthier and more significant food system and to assist in developing healthy habits in all areas of life.
